Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Award – Silver, Best Custom Content (2011)

The award is to recognize the Custom Learning content in VA Learning University’s Military Cultural Awareness e-Learning program. + Award Description - Award Description This awards program is a competitive award judged by industry professionals throughout the country. In this category the program competed against major commercial groups including Disney, Verizon, Microsoft and Bristol Myers Squibb. + Granting Organization - Granting Organization Brandon Hall Group is a membership organization that performs industry research in talent management, learning and development, performance-driven organizations and HR readiness. The Group produces many reports each year for its member organizations. The Brandon Hall Awards program has recognized excellence in learning and technology since 1998.

CUBIC: Corporate University Best in Class Award - First Place, Best New Corporate University (2011)

VALU changed VA’s approach to learning and development. VALU invests in VA employees by providing education, leadership development, learning and training opportunities. + Award Description - Award Description VALU was awarded Best New Corporate University (Plan Implemented within the Last 3 Years). The CUBIC™ Awards honor, recognize, and promote internal training organizations and corporate universities that set standards of excellence. The Awards are to recognize superior thinking, creativity and execution in learning and development. + Granting Organization - Granting Organization The Corporate University Best-in-Class (CUBIC™) Awards are presented by the International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC). This Center holds tailored practical conferences, large-scale events, seminars and internal training programs for business executives.

INSIGHTS 2011 Award: Best Deployment to an Organization

The success of this project was made possible through collaboration among all VA administrations and Plateau Systems. The new TMS streamlines the training process and simplifies other learning tasks and activities. Chief Learning Officer (CLO) Magazine 2011 Practitioner Leadership Award
